On 26 June 2014, Kariina Laas defended her doctoral thesis (Cum Laude) entitled “Neuropeptide S and mental health: A functional receptor gene variant and environment shaping traits and contributing to psychiatric disorders”.
Dissertation opponent was Professor Bill Deakin from University of Manchester and the supervisor of the thesis was Professor Jaanus Harro.
